Lake O' the Pines is a great sport fishing lake, especially the west end where the Lake O Pines RV Marina & Inn is located. The water is relatively shallow and has large patches of aquatic growth. The plants provide a good habitat for a variety of life which in turn provides food for the fish. It is the perfect situation for lunker bass, pan-sized crappie, large catfish, and tons of bream.

We have an onsite Bait & Tackle Shop which has many items to make your stay more enjoyable. We have a wide variety of bait, rods & reels, fishing hooks, bobbers, minnow buckets, and a good selection of fishing supplies.

We have recently opened Lake O' Pines Village Mobile Home and RV Park just a few hundred yards uphill from the lake. We offer beautiful peaceful and secure sites for mobile homes or RVs. Residents of the Lake O' Pines Village will also have access to all of the amenities of Lake O' PInes RV Motel & Marina. This includes fishing, use of the boat ramp, laundry facilities, and children's playground.

Lake O' the Pines is an excellent location for birdwatching. The east Texas forest provides a varied habitat for a large number of species of birds.
